If you have already enrolled or are planning to enroll in another school for the 2026-2027 school year, please call our office at (818) 833-3918 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday before August 5, 2026, so what we may update our records.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We hope the summer has provided you time to rest and time to prepare for the upcoming school year. As we get ready for the new year, students attending Olive Vista Middle School and STEAM Magnet during the 2026-2027 school year MUST attend orientation with their parent/guardian as indicated in the schedule below.
During orientation we will review the 8th grade culmination & OVMS grades 6-8 activity requirements and provide important information for the upcoming school year. During orientation:
- Students schedules will be discussed and available via schoology
- OVMS attendance and behavior expectation policies will be reviewed
- Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to sign up for LAUSD Parent Portal
- We will review school policies and procedures necessary for student success
- Tours of the school will be available
PE uniforms AND logo, polo uniform shirts will be available for purchase with
- PE Shirts - $13 (XS-L), $14 (XL), $15 (2XL) &
- PE Shorts - $17 (XS-L), $18 (XL), $19 (2XL)
- Polo collared shirts - $19 (XS-L), $20 (XL), $21 (2XL)
- CASH Only please
**Shirts and shorts do not have to be purchased at our student store but must meet uniform requirements.
First Day of Instruction for the 2026-2027 School Year is Wednesday, August 12, 2025 and start time is at 8:25 am with student dismissal at 3:16 p.m.
