Individual Graduation Plan (IGP)

We expect students to take rigorous courses in middle school so that they are academically prepared to enroll in the high school courses identified as A-G that meet the admission requirements for the University of California and the California State University systems. We will provide support and intervention so that students will be successful. We encourage all parents/guardians to talk to their children about attending classes daily, seeking assistance during office hours and participating in virtual activities. Students need to pass all their courses in middle school to learn the skills necessary to be prepared for high school.

IGP planning sheets were mailed home the week of October 2, 2020. Please refer to the planning sheet when discussing academic progress with your child. Counselors meet with students in October and will be meeting with students after the 5 and 10 week report cards in their Homeroom Advisory class to review their academic progress. Parents are encouraged to participate in those discussions. Our counselors have prepared a short video that outlines how to read the IGP report.
