LAUSD is pleased to announce a variety of opportunities for students to continue their education over the summer months.
First, LAUSD Summer of Learning which runs from June 17 through July 16, 2025. Please see attached flyer for additional information and programs being offered. One can also visit lausd.org/summeroflearning website.
Additionally, parents or guardians may reach out to Mr. Turcios, 8th Grade Counselor, if interested. Also transportation requests must be submitted by Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Rising Freshman Success Program for the Class of 2029 students! This is a program designed for current 8th grade students in order to prepare them for the challenges of transitioning to high school. Please see attached flyer for additional information.
The MMED Office is offering the International Newcomer Enrichment Program. Please see attached flyer for additional information. For a list of participating locations click here.
Finally in partnership with LAUSD the Los Angeles Community College District id offering courses for rising 9th through 12th graders. Courses will run from June 16 through July 18, 2025. Interested students need to see Mr. Turcios, 8th Grade Counselor, in order to sign up.
